Phil DiLorenzo for City Council

Democratic and Working Families Party Candidate for Council District 1 - Lansingburgh

Fiscal Responsibility

As an auditor, I’ve spent my career making sure government programs are run efficiently and taxpayer money is spent properly. I’ll bring that same focus to City Hall – digging into the details, advocating for transparency, and demanding clear and balanced budgets.

Real Leadership

Too often, District 1 is an afterthought. I’ll fight for the services, funding, and the respect Lansingburgh deserves.  I’ll be a visible and accountable representative. You’ll always know where I stand, and I will consistently show up and advocate for the ‘Burgh.

Modernize Code Enforcement

One of the biggest problems we have is absentee landlords letting their properties fall apart, and it is dragging the whole neighborhood down. I’ll make sure code enforcement proactively enforces the rules, so good neighbors arent punished while bad apples get a free pass.

Sidewalk Repair Program

Our sidewalks are long neglected, and it has become a safety issue for kids, seniors, and all pedestrians. I’ll make sure ‘burgh’s sidewalks gets its fair share of attention to keep everyone safe.

A Real Voice for Lansingburgh

I’m Phil DiLorenzo, and I’m running for City Council for District 1. My wife and I are raising our almost 3 year old daughter right here in Lansingburgh. We’ve made our home here for the past 8 years because we believe in this community – and we’re all in. I’m an Auditor, and I serve as the Vice President of the Knickerbacker Park Board, where I’ve overseen many of the amazing upgrades in the park over the past few years.

I’m running for City Council because our neighborhood deserves bold, vocal leadership – someone who will fight for Lansingburgh and make city government work for the people.
